A 2011 CNN Hero, Robina Niaz is Executive Director and Founder of Turning Point for Women and Families in Flushing, New York. This community based, non-profit organization founded in 2005, addresses the needs of Muslim women and children through crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, advocacy, outreach, education and training.
