Directions and Parking Instructions to
E. J. Thomas Hall – The University of Akron

In an effort to help you park your car more efficiently, Thomas Hall and University Parking Services have developed the following guidelines for parking.
The direction you approach the Hall will determine where you will be directed to park.
Flying Balcony Club Reserved Parking for Star level and above plus Handicap Parking are available in the E. J. Thomas Hall Parking Deck, (Lot 28) located off of Hill Street. FBC members will need to show their reserved parking permit and a valid permit must be displayed for all handicapped parking.
Parking in the Thomas Hall Parking Deck is at a premium. Arrive early, the deck fills first. For your convenience an elevator is available in the parking deck.
From the North
(Cuyahoga Falls and East Cleveland):

Exit Buchtel Avenue/Carroll Street. |

Turn right onto Buchtel Avenue. |
| • |
Follow Buchtel Avenue until it deadends into E. J. Thomas Hall. |
From the
South
(Canton):

I-77 North to Route 8 North. |
| • |
Exit Buchtel Avenue/Carroll Street. |
| • |
Turn left at the second light which is Buchtel Avenue. |
| • |
Follow Buchtel Avenue until it deadends into E. J. Thomas Hall. |
From the East
(Youngstown):
| • |
I-76 West to Route 8 North. |
| • |
Exit Buchtel Avenue/Carroll Street. |
| • |
Turn left at the second light which is Buchtel Avenue. |
| • |
Follow Buchtel Avenue until it deadends into E. J. Thomas Hall. |
Parking is available on your right in Lot #26 on Buchtel Avenue, when coming from these directions.
From the West
(Montrose, Summit Mall, Medina and West Cleveland):

I-77 South/I-76 East. Exit Wolf Ledges. |

Turn left onto Wolf Ledges and follow for about a half mile. Wolf Ledges goes underneath a bridge. |

Take the first street on your left, which is Wolf Ledges Parkway. |
| • |
Thomas Hall is located one block away. |
Parking is available on your right in Lot #34 on Wolf Ledges Parkway, when coming from this direction.
