Hall Information
E. J. Thomas Hall is located on the corner of University Avenue and Hill Street on The University of Akron’s campus in downtown Akron. Access to the building is available one hour prior to curtain time and the auditorium opens one-half hour before curtain time.

Smoke Free
E. J. Thomas Hall is a smoke free building.
Smoking areas are located outside the building.
Pre-Paid Parking Passes
For your convenience you may pre-pay your parking. Pre-paid discount parking passes are $3 per car. To receive your passes by mail, call Thomas Hall 330/972-7570 at least one week before the show, or pick them up in person anytime before the day of show at the ticket office. Passes are valid for all the surrounding lots and the Thomas Hall parking deck on an availability basis. Passes are for your convenience and do not guarantee a space in the parking deck.

Parking
As on any metropolitan college campus, there are times when parking is at a premium. Parking lots are manned by uniformed parking attendants beginning at 5 p.m. These attendants collect your parking fee of $5, or your pre-paid parking pass and direct you to the nearest available space. Eleven handicap spaces are available on Level One of the Thomas Hall parking deck. From this parking area the ticket office and lobbies are handicap accessible. Ushers will be available to assist you if needed. Your parking fee goes to The University of Akron Parking Department who use these funds to maintain the lots on the campus and provide parking service. Parking for buses is also $5.

A Special Parking Note
The University of Akron is currently erecting and renovating several major buildings on campus. This construction phase will impact traffic and parking for the next two years. Please plan a few extra minutes for parking your vehicle so you can arrive at the performance on time.
Parking Deck Elevator
A parking deck elevator has been installed for the convenience of our patrons to use during scheduled events.
